This high-tempo, layered track explores the intensity of a fleeting situationship. Its fervor recalls the kiwi-packing factory in New Zealand where Marceau worked, writing songs amidst the cacophonous machinery. With playful synths echoing a sparrow’s call and rock undertones, “Sparrow” is an indie pop gem, channeling Marceau’s journey of youthful adventure and mistakes.

Marceau came to Amadeus Recording Co. with a treasure trove of songs written over the past decade, ready to transform her music into polished pieces she could confidently share with the world. She sought out Antonino’s expertise in production and co-writing, along with Siobhan’s project management skills and keen attention to detail, to help her establish her artist presence and lay a solid foundation for success as a new musician.

For her debut single, Marceau selected “Sparrow”, a track she had a clear vision for. She shared a vocal demo and a curated playlist of inspirations to guide the creative direction. Drawing from these, Antonino crafted a production demo that blended elements of her inspirations with his own artistic touch. Together, they refined and shaped the song, resulting in an indie-pop gem that beautifully captures Marceau’s artistry.
